October-November

Aidan mission his first tooth. It fell out a couple days ago. Just in time to take it in for show and tell. On halloween we took the kids 5 pin bowling.
It was a lot of fun.

I actually beat Pete which is something that never happens!

A few days before halloween we woke up to this beautiful winter wonderland.
Most of us weren't quite ready for it.
A couple days before the snow we had quite a hail storm.
More hail.
Fall fun with friends. The girls made pumpkin cookies.
All the kids got a pumpkin to carve.

The kids drew the face they wanted and we helped carve it.

A big thanks to our friends the Dupuis for a great time.

All the days...

As some of you may have noticed last week I changed the look of our blog. As I was doing that a verse kept coming to mind. It's the one the I posted under our title. It's a memory verse that Aidan had for school. What a great reminder that God holds all of our days in His capable hands. He knows what will come to pass before it does and he has ordained those things for us. Of course that doesn't mean they will always be easy but we can rest assured knowing that He knows what all our days hold and wants to walk with us through them. May this be a comfort and encouragment to all of us no matter what we're facing.

A beautiful day

I wanted to give you an updated picture of our growing baby. Believe it or not, I am getting bigger. I don't think the picture does justice. We'll try again soon!:)
Aren't they cute?
They love the baby so much and always give him, (my belly), hugs and kisses. Aidan sometimes even does when he leaves for school.
It was a beautiful fall day. We went to the park and had a great time, although I didn't take any pictures.
Tonight we were teaching the kids a game using dice. They had fun but were being really silly. I never knew little boys could be so silly!

Elianna had a unique way of shaking the dice. Aidan summed it up well when he said, "Eli, it's like you're doing (dribbling) basketball. After dribbling she would just throw them. Good times!

The many faces of our kids

Last week we were house sitting for some friends and they had a lot of dress up clothes. The kids had a blast. Here are some of their outfits. Elianna the owl
Aidan the dalmation.

Aidan the lion.

Batman.

The crocodile or alligator

The little ladybug.

The other view of the ladybug.

Superman.

Superman with the interesting ladybug.

The fuzzy sheep.

A couple weeks ago we were at a local park. I thought these water lilies were beautiful.

God has created such beauty for us to enjoy.

First Day of School

Aidan had a great week of school. He loves it. We are soo thankful and hope that the rest of his year continues to go well. Here he is walking into school with his class.
What a big boy. We took him out for breakfast to McDonalds before school.

Elianna is really going to miss having Aidan around. They are great friends and play really well together.
Aidan on his first day of first day of first grade.

We went to a nearby conservation area and took a nice walk.

There were all sorts of fire trucks from all sorts of places.

It was loud!:)
